Afrika’s Struggle’s Birthday Gift

Yesterday, a couple of my Orthodox Jewish students gave me a birthday gift – the gift of prayer after class in celebration of my birthday on November 4th.

For transparency, my mother’s mother’s mother was born and raised as a Jew in Jamaica.
