Last Friday evening, by a special invitation, I met with prospective investors for my upcoming film project based on Afrika’s Struggle: His Experiential Journey at a mayoral event. On Saturday, I hosted a book signing and I wish to thank everyone who patronized my book. Yesterday, I returned home – NY.

Today, in New York City, I met with two professors of English at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
They invited me to do a presentation on my book, Afrika’s Struggle: His Experiential Journey, at their home university.

The world-renowned Chicago native, Dr. Katherine Phillips is the Reuben Mark Professor of Organizational Character
(Management) at the Columbia Business School. Dr. K. W. Phillips is the first African American female to earn a Ph.D. in Business at Stanford University. She generously participates in the Ph.D. Project Program.
