Last night, I was invited to join Dr. Geneive Brown Metzger – the former consul general of Jamaica, New York, United States of America – at the Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia in New York, the United States of America. Dr. Metzger was one of the awardees at the 18th Annual Leadership Awards Gala hosted by The James Jay Dudley LUCE Foundation. Currently, Dr. Metzger is the president of Gladvic Productions, LLC, and the tireless president & executive director of The American Caribbean Maritime Foundation.
It was an interesting experience as it pertains to my exposure to the Indonesian culture and cuisine. And I was able to network with some dynamic individuals, too.
